Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Staff Tested Negative for COVID-19

Clinton, Mo. – (March 16, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is pleased to announce that staff members placed on quarantine and tested for COVID-19 have all tested negative.

In addition, GVMH is back to standard operations. The ambulance service is running and patients may keep their scheduled appointments, unless they have any signs or symptoms of respiratory illness. If so, GVMH recommends they contact their primary care provider by phone or through the myGVMH patient portal for guidance on care.

As a protective measure, GVMH is still limiting visitation. If someone is not seeking treatment or assisting someone that needs care, GVMH requests that they do not visit its facilities at this time.

“Our entire team has been working diligently around the clock to take all the necessary steps to safeguard the health of our patients, staff and community,” said Craig Thompson, chief executive officer at GVMH.

“I commend our staff for all that they do. They are heroes that go over and beyond the call of duty every day to keep our patients and community safe.”
