Obituary - Etta Mae Roberts

Etta Mae Roberts was born June 7, 1938, in Appleton City, Missouri to the late John Franklin and Leotta Mae (Little) Foster.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Isaac Edmond “Eddie” Roberts, in 2010. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons, James Roberts Jr. and Franklin Roberts; great granddaughter, Leeya Wiseman-Guzman; brother, David “Dub” Foster (Wilma); and sister, Mary Brubaker (David).
Etta is survived by her children, Leta Wiseman (Ron), Patricia Giordano (Pete-deceased), William Roberts (Julie), Joyce Roberts, James Roberts (Laura), and Charles Roberts (Ola); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and her siblings, Leroy Foster (Donna), John Foster (Pat), Clifford Foster (Donna), Harold Foster (Melanie), Charles Foster (Diane), and Rhonda Morris (Bob).

Adrian man arrested after two vehicle accident in Cass County
On 3/18/20 around 2:55pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Cass County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Missouri 7 Highway at Thunder Road in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1993 Ford driven by 32 year old Daniel K. Baney of Adrian, Missouri failed to yield to oncoming traffic and struck the 1991 Chevrolet driven by 49 year old Calvin L. Baumgarden of Creighton, Missouri causing the vehicle to overturn and slide to a stop on the NW side of the Intersection.
Both drivers sustained serious injuries in this accident and both were transported by Garden City Fire Department to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by J's Southland Tow.
Mr. Baney was arrested for 1.) Felony Driving While Intoxicated 2.) No Seat Belt 3.) Failure to yield to oncoming traffic 4.) Failure to provide proof of Insurance.
Baney was released to seek medical treatment for his injuries that he sustained in this accident.

Obituary - Nellie Louise Stratton
Nellie Louise Stratton, age 93, Pleasanton, Kansas formerly of Carthage, Missouri passed away on March 18, 2020. She was born on June 15, 1926 in Blackwell, Oklahoma the daughter of Rueben and Mary Green Hancock.
She married Leroy Stratton on March 24, 1945. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Nellie is survived by her daughter Linda Conley, two sons, Richard Stratton and Edward Stratton, eight grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
