News From The Cass County Commission
The Cass County Commission would like to take a minute and ask each and everyone of you to only post information that is factual and verified by our Cass County Health Department about COVID-19.
There is so much misinformation out on social media that we are receiving so many calls asking questions and tying up our resources which makes it difficult to work on things related to the COVID-19.
If you have questions or concerns, please visit our Cass County Health Department Website. This site is kept very up-to-date. We post information immediately as it comes in.
We would like to cover a few items that are totally false.
FIRST: You will not be stopped by law enforcement in Cass County asking for a letter that states that your job is an essential part of the workforce.
SECOND: We have only 12 confirmed cases as of 3/29/2020 at 10:00am. We do have some people that have been self-quarantined out of precaution and safety for the general public. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE COVID-19.
THIRD: We ask that you practice social distancing and to stay home as much as possible, so that COVID-19 will end quickly.
I ask all our friends, family, and citizens to work together on this and take care of each other.
Thank you - The Cass County Commission
