Fair book available now

About the boards...

A peaceful gathering is planned to be held on the Butler square this week and fully understanding the sensitivity of our current situation, some business owners have elected to take preventive measures which are seen here.

Based on feedback from those organizing the event, we’ve been assured this will be a brief and peaceful gathering.

Local law enforcement is fully aware of the situation and have planned accordingly, there is no need for panic.

Employee of Miami R-1 tests positive for COVID-19

District update:

It was recently confirmed that an employee of Miami R-1 tested positive for COVID-19. After much consultation with the Bates County Health Department, it has been determined the situation poses little risk to other employees, district patrons, and the communities for which we serve.

Please know that individuals directly impacted by the diagnosis are following specific protocol to ensure their speedy personal recovery all while limiting exposure to others. We appreciate the support the district receives while navigating such trying times!

Furthermore, we would like to wish all those affected the very best as they work towards greater health!
