Two El Dorado Springs teens injured in St. Clair County Crash

On 7/1/20 around 9:47pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St.Clair County responded to a one vehicle accident on SW 801 Road around 5 miles northeast of El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2010 Pontiac G6 driven by 19 year old Madison M. Scott of El Dorado Springs, Missouri lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the roadway striking a tree.

Madison M. Scott along with a 15 year old juvenile male both sustained moderate injuries in this accident and both were transported by private vehicle to Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Steward's Tow.

Knee boarder struck by boat near Warsaw

On 7/1/20 around 8:26pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Division in Benton County responded to a boat that collided with a knee boarder on the Lake of the Ozarks near mile marker 89.4 in the Warsaw area of Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when 41 year old John Decker of Warsaw, Missouri fell off the knee board he was riding, another boat hit Mr. Decker as the driver tried to veer left and miss colliding with the boat that was pulling Decker.

Mr. Decker sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri for treatment.

Patti Jeanne Jarrett, 85, Urich, Missouri departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at her home.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

An Eastern Star Service will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at the funeral home with a funeral service to follow.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the North Greenlawn Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.

Butler woman arrested on warrants from McDonald County

On 7/1/20 around 8:04pm the Bates County Sheriffs Office arrested 26 year old Sarah K. Cantrell of Butler.

Sarah K.Cantrell was arrested for 1.) Warrant out of McDonald County - 4th Degree Assault on a special victim- Law enforcement officer 2.) Warrant out McDonald County Resisting/ Interfering with a arrest.

She was booked into the Bates County Jail and placed on a $1,000 cash only bond.
