News from the Butler R-5 School District

Due to things beyond our control, Butler will not be having a elementary youth volleyball season this year.

Due to COVID-19, we are unable to have access to the school for practices or games.

We know that our administration is doing everything possible to keep our kids safe this school year and the decisions don’t come easily. We look forward to being back next season!

Perseid Meteor Shower Peak Coming Up

In one week, the Perseids will be at their peak. The last time I viewed these, I saw a green meteor streak across the sky...so cool! If you don't want to chance the weather, this event is active now through Aug 26th. The meteors per hour rate will just be lower compared to the peak period.
