Obituary - Davie B. Anderson

Davie B. Anderson, 91, Harrisonville, Missouri departed this life on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the Crown Care Center, Harrisonville.

She is survived by two daughters, LeeAnn McKee, Harrisonville, Missouri and Lynne McLain and husband Richard, Butler, Missouri; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marian Ford, Gadsden, Alabama; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Due to the ongoing Pandemic the family suggest that mask be worn and social distancing while in the funeral home.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A complete obituary will be posted when it becomes available.


Time change for Butler Football game against Sherwood

Butler Bears Football game this Friday at Sherwood will start at 6 p.m. This is a time change requested by Sherwood.

Stolen Vehicle In Butler

The Butler Police Department took a report this morning of a stolen 1996 Ford F-150 that is white in color from a address in the 300 Block of South Fulton.

The truck has a very distinctive blue stripe along the bottom side of the door on both sides. Also not much gas was in the truck when it was stolen. A Missouri license plate number will be 20AB14

NRMC welcomes Katelyn Erwin

We want to give a big welcome and congratulations to Katelyn Erwin, FNP. Katelyn earned her Doctorate from Pittsburg State University in May and become licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked on the Med/Surg Unit at NRMC for the past four years,  and in September she will join the teams at NRMC's Primary Care Center and NowCare Clinic. She says she looks forward to helping a variety of individuals, getting to know each person and family to help them live their best lives. - courtesy NRMC
