Bates County Cattle Women demo a delicious beef recipe at Yoss Thriftway in Adrian on September 19 at 11am and 12noon

Demos are at 11 am and 12 noon at Yoss Thriftway in Adrian on September 19, 2020. The recipe is Mongolian Beef Sloppy Joes and it is delicious, quick and easy to make. 

The demo by the Bates County Cattle women is being sponsored by the Missouri Beef Industry and Beef-It’s What for Dinner.

News from the Nevada High School

NHS will be having a student-oriented, campus-wide outdoor event to recognize student achievement and involvement on Homecoming Day, September 25th, 2020.

In order to be a good partner with our community, the annual parade will be cancelled this year. We appreciate the support of the community as we navigate these times with student safety at the forefront of our planning. 

We would like to welcome the community to the Homecoming game and festivities in the evening as our Nevada Tigers take on the Monett Cubs. Kickoff will be at 7:00pm and streaming will be available through KNEM-KNMO Radio.

Thank you for your support and patience as we work through these times and continue to facilitate learning for our students.

1st Annual Tractor Pull at the Fishing Dock in Archie

We are excited to announce our 1st Annual Tractor Pull at the Fishing Dock with the Missouri State Tractor Pullers Association (MSTPA) on Saturday, Oct 3rd at 4pm. Gates will open at 2:30 pm. This pull will be held directly behind the Fishing Dock. 

Full Outside Concessions including a Beer Garden. Then to keep the fun going, Hunter Hathcoat will take our indoor stage at 9pm. must be 21 to enter the Beer Garden & to enter the bldg after 9pm.

We will have full camper hook-ups available at the I49 RV Park. Call 816-293-6064 for reservations
