Henry County Health Center confirms 59 new positive cases of COVID-19

The CDC continues to recommend that individuals to wear a face covering when you are in public, and are unable to social distance, to assist in preventing the spread of COVID-19.


Attention residents of Pleasanton Kansas

The Pleasanton Police Department is currently looking for a tall, skinny, white male, with long hair, who attempted to enter an individual's home here in Pleasanton a little while ago. He was driving a dark passrnger car.

Please be sure to lock your house and vehicles. If someone unexpected knocks at your door, please contact the Pleasanton Police Department through Linn County dispatch.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northeastern Bates county until 8 pm.

Power outage in Butler

Just moments ago the lights went out in parts of south and west Butler. Crews are expected to be dispatched soon.

Tornado watch in effect

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Bates county set to expire at midnight. An incoming cold front will be ushering in showers off and on most of the night.
