City of Butler Be prepared for increase cost/usage in April Billing
We would like to remind you that the upcoming billing in April is for your usage from mid-February to mid-March. This is the time frame that winter usage and peak demand was at an all time high. This resulted in a significant increase in the cost of power as well as individual overall consumption.
The City of Butler along with our power pool have leveraged credit to spread the total cost of the high pricing over the next several months.
You will see an increase in the fuel adjustment costs that will reflect this credit payback along with increased usage during the February cold snap. Please make sure that you budget accordingly for the upcoming billing.
