NRMC Auxiliary Kicks off Fresh Start

The Auxiliary at Nevada Regional Medical Center is open and ready for business once again. Dedicated to providing volunteers and financial assistance to the hospital, this organization has taken a year off in response to the COVID-19 virus. But with a big statement, it appears that they are back and ready to serve once again.

Pictured above in the middle is Bruce Haberkorn, treasurer for the Auxiliary, who is seen here presenting hospital CEO Steve Branstetter with a check for $25,000. On the right is newly hired Community Relations Director Reyna Blakely. Haberkorn said the money will assist the hospital in helping to purchase new equipment used to clean endoscopic tools and instruments.

Recently the Auxiliary announced that it will be reopening its gift shop on Tuesday morning, July 6th. Daily hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Throughout the year the Auxiliary holds other fundraisers in an effort to raise money for special projects at the hospital. Those interested in serving in some capacity with the Auxiliary should contact the NRMC Community Relations office at 417-448-3801.
