Important Football Update from the Appleton City School District

IMPORTANT FOOTBALL UPDATE:

Due to a recently discovered army worm issue with our football field, the decision has been made to move our football jamboree scheduled for tomorrow to Clinton High School. This will give us a chance to spray the field and let the new, young grass get established before our home opener next Friday.

We are very proud of our field and want to avoid damaging it in a way that would potentially leave dirt spots for the rest of the season.

The jamboree will begin at 6:30 tomorrow on the Clinton High School field. There will be no admission charge. They will have a limited concession stand, serving popcorn and water. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see all of you here August 27th for our home opener against Stanberry.
