Roy D. Johnston, age 74, Prescott, Kansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 7, 2022 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 26, 1947 the son of Katherine Welch Fulk. Roy will always be remembered as a reverent and patriotic man who proudly served his God and his country in the United States Air Force.
Roy had a strong personal relationship with his Lord and Savior and believed in spreading the Gospel and leading others to Christ. His life reflected his spirit of giving and willingness to help anyone in need.
He was an owner/operator of his own truck and worked as a mechanic in the construction industry. He also enjoyed working on his muscle cars, hunting and shooting and taking care of and riding his horses. Roy was united in marriage to Betty Garcia on February 1, 1991.
He was preceded in death by his father Luther R. Johnston and his mother, Katherine C. (Welch) Fulk and a brother David L Johnston. Roy is survived by his wife, Betty, his daughter Lucy Ann Greenley with three grand and five great-grandchildren, his brother Theodore Fulk, along with two sisters Cheryl Carney and Kendra Butner.
A gathering to celebrate Roy's life will be held 11 am Friday January 14, 2022 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Obituary - Larry Wayne Neil
If you are reading this now it means I have passed on to a better life, one with my Lord and Savior and one of peace, joy, relaxation, and no pain. Sadly, I leave behind my wife of 49 years, and one wonderful son, Matthew.

Larry was raised on farm near Adrian, MO. He graduated from Adrain High School in 1963 where he was very active in sports, lettering in football, basketball, and track. He was given the Most Outstanding Athlete and Best All-around Athlete award of his senior class. In addition to sports, he was FFA chapter president, Star chapter farmer, and State Farmer.
He graduated with a B.S, in Agriculture from Central Missouri State in Warrensburg, MO. While in college he was active in track, as a distance runner and in cross country. He lettered in both sports. Along with a college coach, they started the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on the Warrensburg campus. He was very active in the Baptist Student Union work holding the office director of evangelism and president. Larry also attended Midwestern Baptist Seminary in Kansas City, MO.
Throughout his ministry, Larry has held may associational offices including chairman of stewardship, BSU personnel committees, and moderator.
In the last 2 months of college, he met and then married Kathleen (Kathy) Reed. They were married on May 20, 1972. To this union was born one son, Larry Matthew Neil.
Larry was saved at home at the age of 9 and baptized and became a member of Burdette Baptist Church. He was ordained into the ministry August 23, 1970, by Calvary Baptist Church, Independence, MO.
Since God called him into the ministry, he has served in the following churches: Calvary Baptist Church, Independence, MO as Youth Director; Finey Baptist, Deepwater, MO; First Baptist Church, Chilhowee, MO; Crowder Jr College BSU Director, Neosho, MO; Sweetwater Baptist Church, Neosho, MO; Six Mile Baptist Church, Independence, MO; First Baptist Church, Lockwood, MO; Harmony Baptist Church, Rogersville MO; and Calvary Baptist Church Odessa, MO. At the time of his death, he was interim pastor at Concord Baptist Church, Bates City, MO.
Larry will be remembered for his love of fishing with family and friends and religiously watching the Missouri Tigers football and basketball teams along with the Chiefs and Royals.
Larry is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; son, Larry Matthew Neil of Denver, CO; two brothers, Bill (Peggy) Neil of Rolla, MO, Brett (Linda) Neil of Bixby, OK; five sisters, Donna Shelton of Clinton, MO, Deanna Leonard of Deepwater, MO, Janice Mayfield of Kansas City, MO, Debby (Tim) Enos of Adrian, MO; Rose (Ron) Mangels of Roach, MO; sister-in-law, Judy Reed of Sedalia, MO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve (Darlene) Reed of Richmond, KS, John (Debby) Reed of Harleysville, PA, Melissa (John) Austin of Arma, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. Larry was a very devoted, loving husband and father. Larry was proceeded in death by his parents, Lavern and Evelyn Neil; 2 step-fathers, Robert Gibb, and Shorty Anstine; a sister, and eight brothers-in-law. Even more he was totally dedicated and committed to serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For him, "to live is Christ but to die is gain".

Phyllis A. Brassfield, age 76, Rich Hill, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Phyllis is survived by four children, Kimberly Robinson and husband James, Laura Pundt and husband Tim, Amy Brooks, and Carl Brassfield and wife Jaime.
Funeral service will be held 10 am Friday, January 14, 2021 at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, Missouri. Graveside funeral service will be 2 pm Friday at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 W 75th St, Shawnee, Kansas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, January 13 at the Heuser Funeral Home. Contributions are suggested to the Kern Senior Center, c/o Heuser Funeral Home.

Robert was raised in Kansas City and lived his adult years in Nevada, Sheldon, the state of Florida and Richmond, KS. He worked for a number of years at Sheldon Grain in Sheldon, MO.

Obituary - Frank Livingston Schooley, Jr.
Frank Schooley, Jr., 56, formerly Nevada, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home in Springfield, MO following a brief illness. Frank was born on October 15, 1965 in Hammond, IN to Frank Livingston Schooley, Sr. and Gaila Marie (Stafford) Schooley. He married Dianna Lynn Register on May 19, 2001 in Nevada and she survives of the home.
Frank grew up in Nevada and graduated from NHS class of 1984. He worked for the family business, Frank Schooley Painting Service. He also worked ten years for Chicago Bridge and Iron before returning to the family business. He has lived in Springfield for the past five years.
Frank was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals fan. In his younger years he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and NASCAR. Frank loved his family, BBQ’s and his grandchildren.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Dianna, include his father, Frank Schooley, Sr.; stepchildren, Jessica Steffes (Tim), Oak Grove, MO and Trever Yarbrough (Brooke), Harrisonville, MO; two sisters, Patricia Hancock (Dennis), Nevada, and Terri Morton, Webb City, MO; two brothers, Lynn Schooley, Nevada, and Larry Schooley, Cassville, MO; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and father-in-law, Charles “Bud” Register, Foster, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gaila; infant sister, Francine Marie Schooley, grandparents, Gail and Wanda Stafford and Dora and Lawrence Rackley; and mother-in-law, Brenda Register.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Pastor Roger Beach officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.

Obituary - Ravin Pennell
Ravin Pennell of Lamar, MO passed away on Thursday January 6. 2022. She was born on February 19, 1984 in Gravette, AR to Renee (Higgins) and Carl Pennell. She grew up in, and went to school in Greenfield, MO until the family moved to Lamar, MO.
She graduated from Lamar High School in 2002. While attending Lamar High School she completed her CNA training with Mrs. Potter.
Ravin worked as a CNA at several area nursing homes including Truman Health and Rehab, St Lukes Nursing Center, Sarcoxie Nursing Center, and Spring River Christian Village. She continued working until she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Ravin was a loving woman who was always doing for others. She enjoyed going out to eat, going to the movies, and, as her mom lovingly said, “that girl could shop”.
Ravin is survived by her parents; son, Zander Brayfield of Lamar, MO; brother, Patrick Pennell of Greenfield, MO; and grandmother, Many Ann Higgins of Lamar, MO. She is also survived by her aunt, Linda (John) Strong of Lamar, MO; uncle, Harry Pennell of Lamar, MO; and many cousins and other loving family members.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Loyd Pennell and Harold Higgins, and grandmothers Betty Pennell and Martha Pennell.
The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers be made to assist with the funeral expenses.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 from 6 PM to 7 PM and a funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Jeffrey Corbett “Corby” Cummins of Harrisonville, Missouri was born December 17, 1963 in Independence, Missouri the son of James Corbett and Janet Charlene (Boyland) Cummins. He departed this life on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 58 years and 17 days.
Corby was employed as a machinist supervisor for Midwest Plastics, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He was a “Good Ol’ Boy” who loved his family, especially his grandchildren and hated when the Kansas City Chiefs lost. Corby was known as a giver and not a taker. He was willing to help anyone he could.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Cummins.
Corby is survived by a son, Josh Cummins and wife Summer Doles and a daughter, Casie Ford and husband Alex all of Harrisonville, Missouri; 8 grandchildren with one on the way; a brother, Chad Cummins, Lexington, Missouri; two sisters, Kathy Armstrong, State of Florida; Kim Tarwater and husband Randy, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
