Two seriously injured in St. Clair County rollover accident

On May 22nd around 9:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County along with St. Clair County Sheriff's Deputies, Osceola Fire Department and the Osceola Police Department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the northbound lanes of Missouri 13 Highway in Osceola.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2009 Nissan Altima driven by 18 year old Jardell C. Williams of Blue Springs, Missouri swerved to avoid hitting a deer, overcorrected and began skidding before traveling off the roadway, overturning into a rock bluff.

Two passengers in the vehicle 42 year old Kristine A. Williams of Blue Springs, Missouri and a 17 year old male juvenile from Springfield both sustained serious injuries in this accident and both were transported by Life Flight to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.

Garden City man injured in Johnson County motorcycle accident

On May 22nd around 9:44 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Johnson County along with Johnson County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a motorcycle accident at northbound Missouri 13 Highway just south of SW CR 910 in rural Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2020 Harley Davidson driven by 20 year old Ethan K Arthurs of Garden City, Missouri struck a pot hole in the roadway causing the bike to lose control and overturn, ejecting the rider.

Mr. Arthurs sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment.

-Measuring and cutting carpet for installers to pick-up.

-Prepare & load outgoing hard surface jobs. Must be able to calculate well.

-Operate a forklift.

-Moving furniture to showroom and to customer vehicles.

-Assisting with inventory control & helping maintain the appearance of the store.

-Must be able to work Saturdays. Must have valid Drivers license.


15th Annual Montrose Festival Scavenger Hunt

The 15th Annual Montrose Festival Scavenger Hunt will be Sunday May 29th. Registration will be at the Montrose VFW STARTING AT 1:30.

Widespread rain likely Monday Night thru Wednesday

Cooler temperatures will continue for awhile longer, but we will also see increasing chances for widespread rain showers and thunderstorms beginning Monday evening and continuing through Wednesday.

Today marks 11 years since the Joplin EF-5 Tornado. This event produced one of the most significant tornadoes in United States history.
