Triple Threat Thursday

It's a triple threat Thursday! After the very brief and minor break from the dangerous heat yesterday, the heat will return today with areas south of Highway 36 experiencing heat index values of 100-107 degrees. Tonight, storms are expected to develop along a slow moving front across northern Missouri.

Some storms may be severe with large hail and damaging winds the main threats. In addition to the severe threat 1-2 inches with locally 3 inches of rainfall will be possible leading to an increased chance of flash flooding. Stay cool today and stay weather aware tonight!
