Cheryl Lee Beason-Anneler, age 57, of Raymore, Missouri, was taken too soon on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri. A celebration of Cheryl’s life will then be held at 1:00 p.m. later that day at the Gospel Tabernacle Church, 811 S. Cleveland Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012.

Cheryl was born in Long Beach, California on January 14, 1965. She graduated high school and was blessed with two children, Sean and Cassady. In life Cheryl was a woman of faith, attending faithfully the Gospel Tabernacle church in Belton. Cheryl was very involved with her church and their youth group.

Others would say she had many adopted children, brothers, and sisters as her personality was so welcoming, just like her hugs. Cheryl also loved spending time with her grandchildren, the snow, and was a very athletic person especially in softball when she was younger.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her biological mother.

Left to cherish Cheryl’s memory are her parents, James and Sharon Beason; two children, Sean Allingham II (Alyssa) and Cassady Anneler; two brothers, James R. Beason and Lenny Beason (Kelly); and three grandchildren, Emma, Sean III, and James Allingham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society online at www.cancer.org.

Bates County Stampede Rodeo a huge success!

The Bates County Stampede Rodeo was held Saturday night in Butler! The vendors and food was excellent and the response from the public was even better, they packed the place!

Rodeo Gold Productions put on a fantastic rodeo with a awesome stock of animals, great competition and a very entertaining clown “Special Ed” Ed Haworth of Tahlequah, Oklahoma out of retirement for this rodeo.

The announcer of the event was top notch playing all the right music and always keeping the crowd very entertained!

Several food vendors and retail vendors were set up around the arena making the whole fairgrounds smell like pulled pork, kettle corn, popcorn and some of the coolest retail items around for sale.

The Bates County crowd was electric and the energy was flowing throughout the place all night! It was also great to see a local bull rider win the event! Way to go Jake!

This was a excellent rodeo! Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this event happen! Thanks to all the sponsors we sure look forward to making this event grow even bigger next year!

Here are pics from the rodeo! Thank you Outdoorz Photography for being there and capturing all of these pics!
