BCMH: Retirement of Dr. Donald Clement

Dr. Donald Clement, a visiting specialist, has been traveling to Bates County to provide gastroenterology care in the hospital's Outpatient Specialty Clinics since 1994.

Today we wished Dr. Clement a very happy retirement on his last day at BCMH. At a reception in his honor, he said, "I have a lot of affection for Bates County. It's hard for me to leave here, because it's the people that kept me here, the patients and the employees."

Dr. Clement also mentioned we are in good hands with several other visiting specialists who provide gastro care at BCMH (Dr. Frank Totta and Dr. Todd Kilgore, gastroenterologists, and Dr. William Joyce, general surgeon), and we couldn't agree more!

Thank you for 28 years of care for our community, Dr. Clement, we wish you all the best.
