Rose Irene Easton age 85 of Peculiar, Missouri departed this life Friday, July 22, 2022 at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home, Belton, Missouri.
Rose is survived by her husband B.R. Easton of the home; three sons, Robert Easton and his wife Lori Jo of Peculiar, Missouri, Richard Easton and his wife Lorie of Raymore, Missouri, and James Easton of Carl Junction, Missouri; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Raymore Fellowship Church, Raymore, Missouri. Burial will be in the Raymore Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan Purse "Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes".

Kevin Eugene Foster age 59 of Harrisonville, Missouri departed this life Friday, July 22, 2022 at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Kevin is survived by his wife Sandra Foster of the home; two sons, Christopher Meagher and his wife Jennifer of Smithville, Missouri and Robert Meagher and his wife Cecilia of Minot, North Dakota; two daughters, Marybeth Gilbert of Kansas City, Kansas, and Rikki Cantrell of Peculiar, Missouri; mother, Wilma Foster of Harrisonville, Missouri; a sister, Karenl, eleven grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Two from Iowa injured in Bates County crash
On July 23rd around 8:30 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the northbound lanes of I-49 near mile marker 123.8 around 3 miles north of Rich Hill.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 2017 Toyota truck driven by 43 year old Jason G, Billings of Mason City, Iowa fell asleep and traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck guardrail and overturned.
Jason G. Billings and a passenger in his vehicle 42 year old Laura Dyslin of Mason City, Iowa both sustained injuries in this accident.

Obituary - James Robert Eastin
James Robert Eastin, or what most people know him as Jim, was born July 8, 1965, to Robert Eastin and Ileene Eastin in Kansas City, Missouri. He passed away on July 21, 2022 and joined his dad up in Heaven.
Jim’s childhood was mostly spent with his family and friends in Osceola, Missouri. Growing up he created many fond memories he shared with those he loved. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1983.
After high school, Jim went to Missouri Southern State University where he played football and graduated in the police academy. Jim enlisted into the Army and graduated from bootcamp at Fort-Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. He got married in 1988 and finished his service in the Army in 1990.
In 2000, Jim and his wife moved to Nixa, Missouri so they could raise their children close to family. His focus was on his walk with Christ and raising his daughters in the word of God.
Jim loved listening to sermon’s, posting scriptures of word on Facebook to help influence others, sharing pictures of snowy cabin sunsets and bears, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football, good or bad.
Jim was preceded in death by his dad Robert Eastin in 2012.
He is survived by his mother Ileene Eastin, two brothers: Timothy and John Eastin, and three daughters: Emily, Elizabeth, and Elayna Eastin.

Obituary - Bonnie Lou (Kirk) Tolly
Bonnie Lou Tolly, age 94, La Cygne, Kansas passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1927 in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of Charley and Myrtle Fransen Kirk. She was united in marriage to Lester Tolly on April 5, 1944 in Jay, Oklahoma.
He preceded her in death on November 14, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Raymond Tolly, a brother, Stanley Kirk, a sister, Marie Grissom, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Bonnie worked as a seamstress and was a baby sitter. The two most important things in her life was her relation with Jesus and her family. Bonnie kept her ornery spirit up until the very end.
She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, playing Scrabble, painting and sewing.
She made and donated lap throws, bibs, and baby clothes to any organization that was in need. Bonnie is survived by three sons, Jimmy, Johnny and Lewis Tolly, two daughters, Glorianna Ford, and Margaret Melendy, seventeen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the New Life Baptist Church, La Cygne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Star Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to New Life Baptist Church. Colorado woman injured in Cass County crash
On July 22nd around 7:15 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 7 Highway at Orchard Road in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2021 Tesla driven by 47 year old Ruth A. Thomason of Black Hawk, Colorado traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign.
Ruth A. Thomason sustained minor injuries and she was transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville for treatment.
