Traffic Alert In Butler
The intersection of Ft. Scott and Broadway Streets and Broadway and Dakota Streets in Butler is closed at this time due to a minor two vehicle accident with a rollover.

Obituary - Mary Geuy
Mary Geuy, 99 of Drexel, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at her granddaughter's home in Belton, Missouri.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (816-657-4400).
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday, also at the chapel. Burial will take place in Fontana Cemetery, Fontana, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Drexel United Methodist Church, Drexel VFW, or Kansas City Hospice. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.
A complete obituary is pending at this time.

Goldie Hatch, age 79, of Warsaw, Missouri passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Goldie Willine (Keller) Hatch was born on May 25, 1943 in Urich, Missouri to Wallace Andrew “Doc” Keller and Martha Elizabeth (Kerns) Keller.

Goldie married Thomas Francis Hatch on August 22, 1957 at her parents home in rural Clinton, Missouri. Three children were born to this union, Lorraine Frances Hatch, Thomas Francis Hatch, Jr., and Martha Jean Hatch.
Tom and Goldie were divorced on February 7, 1977. Tom remained close to her parents until their passing. Tom and Goldie remained friends. Her great granddaughter, Aislinn Williams, meant so much to her, and her nephew Nat was very dear to her heart.
They were blessed with 8 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.

Semi truck rollover accident near Bates/Vernon County line
Early this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Rich Hill Fire Department responded to a semi truck rollover accident in the Northbound lanes of I-49 near mile marker 117 south of Rich Hill.
The driver wasn't injured in this accident and please use caution as one lane is closed due to a wrecker trying to clean this accident up!

The slogan of the program is: TEACH, INSPIRE and ADVOCATE for the agriculture industry.
For her first project she will be collecting books to donate to her school and local library. These books can be from your personal collection or new.
