Welcome to the family Walter

Medicalodges Butler would like to say welcome to the newest member of our Lodge family. Mr. Walter Eugene Chamberlain.

Walter is the son of LPN Alainya Chamberlain. He was born 1/31/23 at 7lbs 2oz, 20 inches long. Congratulations Alainya, He is perfect!


Obituary - Donna Ruth Dailey

Donna Ruth Dailey, age 71, of Belton, Missouri, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 with her loving husband at her side.

Services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at St. Sabina Catholic Parish, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. A rosary will begin at 9:45 a.m. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Donna will then be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Raytown, Missouri.

Donna was born in Anna, Illinois on December 31, 1951 to George Rosenthal and Velma (Grauberger) Rosenthal. Soon after graduating high school, Donna was joined in marriage with her husband, Michael Dailey on January 22, 1977 at St. Sabina Catholic Church. Donna worked for many years at Allied Signal. In life, Donna was a woman of Catholic faith and a faithful member of St. Sabina Catholic Church as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was very talented at quilting, loved bowling, and loved animals especially frogs and dogs. Donna will always be remembered for her witty personality.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, George and Velma Rosenthal; and two sister in laws, Sharon Rosenthal and Judy Franuik.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Dailey; brother Garry Rosenthal; four sister in laws, Donna Marie Lawrence, Pat Esarey, Sandy Molitor, and Suzie Burguss; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given the the Ladies Auxiliary c/o St. Sabina Catholic Church.

Obituary - Mary A. Gibson

Mary A. Gibson, age 76, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away January 31, 2023, at Adair Village with her family at her side.

Memorial Service will be Friday February 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM, Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd Street, Clinton, MO. 64735.

The family asked that Memorial Donations in Mary Gibson Memory, be made to CARE (Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor), they can be left in care of Consalus Funeral Home.

Obituary - Patricia Ann Foster

Patricia Ann Foster, age 71, of Warsaw, Missouri passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at her home. 

She was born on September 7, 1951 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of Harold L. Coones and Veneda F. (Coke) Coones. Patricia was united in marriage to John E. Foster. They made their home in Appleton City, Missouri, moving to Warsaw in 1986.

She was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Warsaw. Pat worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for more than thirty years at the nursing homes in Butler, Appleton City and Warsaw. She enjoyed playing cards and creating and selling various crafts.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, a grandson and two great granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband, John Foster, seven children; Judy Schick (Richard), of Warsaw, Larry Foster (Sue), of Warsaw, Timmy Foster, of Clinton, Missouri, Peggy Worley, of Warsaw, Linda Hamilton (Rusty), of Warsaw, Cindy Penn, of Warsaw and Ada Wright(Matt), of Warsaw, sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Patricia A. Foster will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.

Chilly this morning, Warmer this weekend

It will be a cold start to the day across the area with morning temperatures in the teens and single digits. Thankfully, it will warm up to near-normal values in the upper 30s to near 40°. 

Temperatures climb into the 40s for most areas Thursday. A brief cooldown is expected Friday but temperatures warm into the 50s for the weekend and into next week.
