The Bates County Sheriffs Detectives are on a mission an need your help. This time we are searching for Community Hero’s. We have embarked on a mission to help with the Annual Children’s Center Casino Night in Adrian.

What we need from our Community Hero. We are looking for auction items along with items for the drawings.

If you or your business would like to donate items please reach out to Amy Fishbaugh or Paul Stockdale and they can pick them up! Things we have had donated in the past are gift cards, tools sets, oil changes, car washes, jewelry, vacations, sporting event tickets, autographed sport memorabilia, fishing trips, hunting trips etc.

You name it we’ll take it!! We want to showcase your business and let everyone know you are a Hero to our Community’s Children in need.

But wait you don’t have to be from our community to be a Hero to our kids. We need your help!!

The Children Center helps hundreds of our children each year in Bates County. A majority of the funding for the center comes from this fundraiser!

Rain & Wintry weather expected Thursday-Friday

Mild and dry today with increasing rain chances Thursday. As temperatures cool overnight Thursday, rain will start to changeover to a snow, or a rain/snow mix.

Since temperatures look to be near freezing, snowfall accumulations will be highly dependent on those Friday morning temperatures.

Slightly warmer temperatures will result in more rain and less snowfall, and colder temperatures in higher snowfall totals.
