Margie Lucille Smith, age 87 of Climax Springs, Missouri died Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born November 1, 1935 to Herbert Horace and Laura Bell Briscoe Briscoe in Butler, Missouri.
Margie is survived by a daughter, Cindy Carnnahan and husband Jack of Climax Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Lester Carnnahan and wife Becky of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Barbara Carnnahan of Climax Springs, Missouri, Carl Carnnahan and wife Michelle of Wichita, Kansas and Michael Carnnahan and wife Kristi of Climax Springs, Missouri; 8 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James “Jimmy” Smith; a great-granddaughter, Jillian Carnnahan; and her twin sister, Margaret Briscoe.

Obituary - Michael Keith Williams
Michael Keith Williams, age 78 passed away on Tuesday, March 14,2023, at his home in Warsaw, Missouri. He was born on May 8, 1944 to Odis and Ruth Ann Williams. On May 5, 1962 Michael married the love of his life Rosemary, and unto that union two children were born.
Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a “self made” and used his ingenuity by opening Micro Tool and Die in 1980, then, his second business Central Missouri plastics in 2000. He was blessed with success with the support of his wife and children. All who knew Michael would describe him as witty and fun loving.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Rosemary Williams.
Michael is survived by his son, Darin (Beth) Williams of Warsaw, Missouri, his daughter, Pam (Lewis) Graham, of Edwards, Missouri, six grandchildren; Jacklyn (John) Miller, of Concordia, Missouri, Patrick Ferking, of Higginsville, Missouri, Jessica (Ethan) Hinck, of Concordia, Missouri, Allison (Price) Carter, of Liberty, Missouri, Trent (Rachel) Clark, of Overland Park, Kansas and Anna Clark of Lakeside, Oregon, fifteen great grandchildren, three brothers; Terry (Paula) Wiliams, Jimmy Williams, David (Debbie) Williams, two sisters; Sandra Keller, Patricia Wilson, several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends

Cynthia Louise Frazier, 60, of rural El Dorado Springs in Vernon County, MO passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Nevada, MO. Cyndy was born April 23, 1962 in El Dorado Springs, MO to Floyd H, and Dolores J. (Woolery) Steely. She was united in marriage to Gary L. Frazier on November 29, 1985 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2014.
Cyndy was raised in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1980. She has worked at Walmart for the past 15 years. Cyndy enjoyed crocheting, KC Royals baseball and attending the Royals games, watching John Wayne movies, and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include four sons, Todd Frazier, and Donald Frazier, both of the home, Dustin Frazier, Nevada, and Christopher Frazier, Walker; four grandchildren, John Moss, Levi Moss, Lukas Frazier, and Mackenzie Frazier; three sisters, Pat Steely, Nevada, Mary Stites, Kokomo, IN, and Kathy Halberstadt, Ben Wheeler, TX. In addition to her husband Gary, she was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dean Steeley.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Power outage in Peculiar due to dump truck striking a pole
Osage Valley Electric Cooperative Members in the Peculiar area are experiencing an outage at this time due to a dumptruck hitting a pole.
Osage Valley Crews have been dispatched and power will be restored as soon and as safely as possible.
Formal charges filed after shootings, manhunt in Crawford County
Formal charges have been filed against the man that allegedly fired at officers and was the subject in a manhunt in Crawford County this month.
The charges come after reported shootings and a manhunt in the Pittsburg area that began late on March 6th and culminated in the arrest of 39 year old Aaron Swink the evening of March 7th.
Prosecutors filed 21 charges against Swink, including four counts of attempted murder in the first degree, one count for aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer with use of a deadly weapon; one count of criminal discharge of a firearm, one count of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement by engaging in reckless driving; two count of criminal possession of weapon by a felon; one count of aggravated criminal threat to cause terror, evacuation, or disruption, multiple counts of aggravated assault for use of a deadly weapon; multiple counts of criminal threat; and counts of criminal damage to property
Swink is currently being held in Crawford County Jail without bond.
