Obituary - Helen Leone Harris
Helen was born on December 8, 1945, in Lincoln, Nebraska to parents Albert and Irene Clemans. Helen was proud of her Nebraskan roots until she moved to the Missouri area with her parents, sister Valearia, and her twin brother Harlain. Helen later became an even prouder mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, encouraging her family to succeed in every activity they participated in.
She spent countless hours supporting her children and grandchildren at the poolside, at piano recitals, at ballets, or baton competitions. She enjoyed watching them excel.
Helen enjoyed bowling in various leagues with her many friends and family members. She cherished the relationships she had built among those at Summit Lanes throughout the years and deeply treasured her memories there. Though she was unable to bowl in her last few years, she relished in the lifelong memories she held near and dear to her heart. Helen will always be remembered for her quick wit, sarcasm and playfulness.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Irene, her twin brother Harlain, and her children, ToniJo Goodman, Michael Harris and Georgette Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Terry "Mike" Harris; children, Danielle Harrison, Andrea "Andi" Frazier, Jacqueline Beshears and Jonathan Harris; grandchildren, Dairal Frazier, Zachary Burch, Dakkota Powell, Quincey Shea, Angelique Long, Dillon Long, Dalas Whisler, Caroline Beshears, Cameron Beshears and Shana Goodman; great-grandchildren, Quorrah Mullins, Ender Long, Ellie Burch, Zoe Burch, Elliot Burch, Jazmynn Shea; a sister, Valeaira Luppens and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Please join the family in celebrating her life at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Summit Lanes Bowling Alley in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial donations or contributions be made to one of Helen's cherished foundations, the St. Jude's Foundation or the American Diabetes Association to further research for future generations.

El Dorado Springs man killed in two vehicle accident in St. Clair County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 2007 Saab driven by 40 year old Eric Bote of El Dorado Springs, Missouri crossed the centerline of traffic and struck the westbound 1992 Dodge Ram Van driven by 48 Sarah Nickerson of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Mr. Bote was pronounced dead at the scene of this accident by the St. Clair County Coroner. He was transported to Sheldon Funeral Home in Osceola, Missouri.
Sarah Nickerson along with a passenger in her vehicle 44 year old Ryan M. Bradburn of Prairie Village, Arkansas both sustained serious injuries and both were transported by air ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 14th fatality accident of the year 2023.

Don Elden Hiser, age 74 of Archie, Missouri died Friday, March 17, 2023 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born September 7, 1948 to Wilburn McDonnell and Sarah Magnolia Davenport Hiser in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Don is survived by his wife, Josie Hiser of Archie, Missouri; a daughter, Sandra Hook of Garden City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Scott Paiten Hook and Samantha Hook; one brother, John Hiser of Harrisonville, Missouri; and two sisters, Elaine Hatter of Harrisonville, Missouri and Aneva Hiser of North Kansas City, Missouri. Obituary - Vance Laverne Bruner
He graduated from Jayhawk Linn High School in the Class of 1977. He worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation as an equipment operator for over thirty years before retiring.
Vance was united in marriage to Debra Lee Adams on June 18, 1989. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was gardening, fishing, taking care of the chickens, playing with the dogs or just "walking the property".
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil, and a sister, Vicki Bruner. Vance is survived by his wife, Debra, two sons, Daniel Bruner and Craig Bradley, a daughter, Madison Bruner, a brother, Van Bruner(Chilesa), six grandchildren, Kate and Kendal Bruner, Bodee Bradley, Allyson, Charles and Elijah Wheeler, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial service will be held 2 pm Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23 at the Mound City Chapel.

He was born on April 25, 1928, in Clinton, MO, to Guy Delos Scoville and Melvina Ford Scoville. He married Sarah Marie Anderson on March 7, 1955, in Macomb, IL. She preceded him in death.
Robert spent most of his time in Illinois. He graduated from High School in Toulon, IL. After graduation, he went to work as a truck driver and stayed at it till he retired. After moving to Garber, IA, he began working for Doern Trucking of Dubuque, IA, and then in 1956, he moved to Flexsteel, IN. in 1986, after thirty years, he retired from trucking and moved to Onslow, IA, where he and Sarah enjoyed camping on the weekends.
In 1993 they moved to El Dorado Springs, MO, where after living for a short time, they sold their home and began camping full-time and traveling around the country. That adventure lasted over ten years when they decided to settle and make their home in El Dorado Springs, where he spent the rest of his life.
Survivors include one sister Barbara (Jerry) Ames, of IA; his children: Sue (Earl) Sauvel of IA, Bobbie (Steve) Brown of FL, Kathy (Andy) McDonald of IA, Steve (Juanita) Scoville of MO, Mike (Carla) of TX; nine grandkids; and twelve great-grandkids.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Darwin, Joe, Charles, and Delbert; his sister Doris; and daughter Pat. A memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery, 300 W Hainline St. Disposition was by inurnment under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation and can be left in the care of Bland Hackleman Funeral Home, 3130 W 54, El Dorado Springs, MO.
