Several emergency personnel are searching for a missing 28 year old white female that is missing around Frontier Village in Adrian at this time.

The female is said to have brown hair, white dress and brown shoes.

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Announces April Employee of the Month

Clinton, MO. – (April 7, 2023) – We are pleased to announce that Brigitte Loyd is the April Employee of the Month.

Windsor woman injured in early morning Henry County crash

On Saturday April 8th around 4:07 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 52 Highway just east of CR NE 981 in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 34 year old Sarah J. Counts of Windsor, Missouri struck two deer that was in the roadway.

Sarah J. Counts sustained minor injuries and she was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for treatment.

The Dodge Grand Caravan was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by J's Southland Tow.

Milo man arrested for having sex with a minor

In March of 2023 the Vernon County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into allegations of a sexual relationship between 37 year old Leroy A, McCullick of Milo, Missouri an a underage girl.

Following the investigation the detectives from Vernon County allegedly found evidence in Mr. McCullick's phone and eventually Leroy McCullick confessed to the incident.

The Detectives from the Vernon County Sheriff's Office observed a forensic interview of the underage girl at the Children's Center in Nevada and a forensic interview at the Children's Center in Butler, in which the female at first denied, and later disclosed there were two incidents of sexual intercourse that had occurred between her and Mr. McCullick.

Leroy McCullick was taken to the Vernon County Jail Tuesday and was charged with two counts of 2nd degree statutory rape. He is currently being held on no bond.

Traffic stop leads to arrest in Pleasanton Kansas

Proof that traffic stops are vital to keeping drugs off our streets. Thursday afternoon, Pleasanton police stopped a vehicle for failure to stop. Officers had probable cause to search the vehicle. 

Upon searching, officers found a large amount of hallucinogenic drugs, over 640 prescription only opioids, over $1600.00, and paraphernalia. 

Charges are pending, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
