In Memory of Corey Turner

In August of 2016, on just the 4th day of his high school career , 14-year-old Corey Turner was walking home from school when he was tragically killed by another student driver.

As a result the Harrisonville Cares Coalition was formed to identify and address areas of concern with vehicular and pedestrian traffic movements throughout the City of Harrisonville.

It has been seven years since Corey passed, the coalition vows to never forget. Today, in Corey's honor the Harrisonville Cares Coalition along with the Harrisonville Police Department encourages safe driving at all times but especially in and around schools.
