Way to go Brock!

Butler High School Junior and NRTC Welding Technologies student Brock Lines has finished his MIG t-joint with a pretty nice looking vertical weave.

Although a weave like this would rarely be used in the field, it's good practice for hand-eye coordination, timing and travel speed.

The next step for Brock is pipe on plate with 6010 and 7018 stick electrodes. In the second semester all students will eventually learn to MIG weld on thin material, so we're not done with MIG yet! Way to go Brock!!

Ladies night out in Butler November 25th

We as two great organizations, Electric City Downtown and Butler Area Chamber of Commerce have decided to do Ladies Night Out a little different.

We are "Bringing it back to the businesses” this year. This has been a very hard decision but we do not have the man power to take on vendors alone. With that we are asking businesses if they would like to have a vendor or multiple please do. Vendors we ask you to contact a local business to have a space.

Businesses if you are staying open late, having specials or vendors please let us know what those are so we can get the word out for you. You may comment on this event page to get vendors and those vendors looking for a spot can reach out here as well as the post on our page.

We look forward to all the great shopping available for this night on November 25th.
