Toasty warm tomorrow

WELL, I hope you enjoyed Spring.

KIDDING. There's more Spring weather on the way for sure, but it'll feel more summery tomorrow.
MOST OF US will hold into 85-87 degrees (red) for Sunday afternoon, but a few areas could get to 90 or very close tomorrow.
No joke!

Track meet results: Butler Bears travel to Holden

The Butler high school track team travelled to Holden to compete in what turned out to be the second large-school meet of the week with the schools involved were mostly of class 3 and 4 sizes. The weather and track conditions were nearly perfect in the evening, and the Bears took advantage of the conditions by winning 8 medals (6 gold) with 14 personal records, two new school records, and four other marks that were also nearly school records.

Below are the results of Butler athletes that finished in the top 8 to score points for the team or set a person record.

Very 'Spring like' weekend ahead

OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES encouraged all weekend!

No change in my forecast from the last few days. Here's a snapshot around the 4pm hour:
The blue lines show me I still expect a windy/breezy day and the same business shows up Sunday as a low surface pressure moves through to our north. Winds will be a little more stout for Sunday than today.
The little green, yellow and blue doo-dads tell us these winds are out of the south. They also show strongest winds over central KS.
I see storms mid-week still, but way too much uncertainty particularly around instability to talk about severe yet - but I have my doubts.
More confident in severe weather picking up again around the last week of April, give or take a few days. We'll dig into that in the livestreams, which I'll probably be doing Monday morning again.
HAVE AN AWESOME WEEKEND!
