Pamela Vennemann-Ahmed July 28th, 1968 to March 29th, 2025 at 6:45 pm. She went to rest and watch over us from afar. In her short 56 years she loved hard and played even harder. Pam’s life was always lived to the absolute fullest. She had an amazingly giving heart. She never met a stranger.

Pam was preceded in death by her loving parents Clara and Thomas McGinnis, her loving husband Jamal Ahmed, and her sister Sugar Diane Vennemann, also her cousin Marco Green.

Pam is survived by many that will carry on her memories, one sister Lisa Souvannasy and 5 brothers; Curtiss Vennemann (Chariety Kendall), Danny Green, Harold Vennemann, Billy Vennemann (Melissa Vennemann), and Cavin Vennemann (Michelle Phillips). Pam’s Best Friend and cousin Tosha Green.

She will be missed by so many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her love for us all knew no bounds, nor will ours for her. She will live on through us. She will be missed by all who knew her. We were truly blessed to have had her in our lives.
We love you always Pam!

Obituary - Gerald “Jerry” Ray Jennings

Gerald “Jerry” Ray Jennings 81, of Appleton City, Missouri passed away April 7th, 2025 at The Ellet Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, April 19 with Funeral services at 1:00 pm at Heuser Funeral Home in Rich Hill, MO.

Jerry was born in Joplin, Missouri on September 16th, 1943 to Otis Marion Jennings and Florence Irene Blue. He was the baby of the family, having two older siblings, Carolyn and Ron.

He was an amazing story teller and had many fond memories of his younger years, graduating with the class of 1961 in Rich Hill. He joined the Army in 1962 and served his country for 3 years.

His favorite story to tell was about the time his mother had the whole family over for Thanksgiving dinner. He had walked in the kitchen to get something and found his dog, Blacky, on the table eating the turkey. He quickly called to his mom to ask if he could carve the turkey for her and she said certainly. No one ever knew. He was pretty proud of that one!!

Working at several different dealerships across the Kansas City area, he was a no nonsense and savvy salesman that made many friends throughout his career.

He loved the 4th of July in Rich Hill and in his older years, meeting up with his nieces to watch the parade was especially fun.

Jerry was proceeded in death by his wife Janet Register Jennings, his parents, Marion and Florence Jennings, sister Carolyn Harris, brother Ron Jennings, Buddy Butler and Steve Seward.

Surviving children include Andy DeMarr, Michele Seward (Bill), Jenny Butler, Liza Denton, Walt “Cash” Register (Jill), Marla Chirnside. Nine Grandchildren; Ashley DeMarr (Brent), Dillion DeMarr (Alexus), Mitch Seward (Jami), Seth Seward (Kelsey), Koree Seward (Shelby), Olivia Heiman (Grant), Garrett Jurss (Sean), Connor Register, Sydney Register. 5 great grandchildren and one due in July.

Jerry will be greatly missed and he is loved by so many.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his name to be sent to Kern Senior Center, 613 E. Park Ave, Rich Hill, MO 64779 or Always and Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary in Spring Hill, KS. (alwaysandfurever.org/donate). He had a great love of dogs and donated frequently to this organization.
