Rich Hill Tiger Juliana Abend accepted into Mizzou's Mini-Med program

 


Rich Hill Schools are proud to recognize Junior student Juliana Abend for her outstanding accomplishments in two upcoming summer programs. First, Juliana has been accepted into Mizzou's Mini-Med program. This program is for Junior students who are interested in a career in medicine and show academic excellence. Juliana will also be representing RHHS at Missouri Girls State. She was selected based on her character and commitment to leadership. Congratulations, Juliana!

Archie's Jackson Martin takes home the gold

 


Last week Archie Whirlwind Jackson Martin performed a timpani solo for MSHSAA's State Solo and Ensemble competition. He performed exceptionally and received a gold rating!

Reminder from the city of Rich Hill

The Rich Hill City Hall will be CLOSED today- Friday, May 9th due to staffing.

Hours will begin Monday thru Friday 8am-4pm on Monday, May 12th. WE'RE NO LONGER CLOSED FOR LUNCH!

Minor accident at new Butler Casey's store

Around 6:30 this evening, Butler police and first responders were called to the Casey's store on a report of a vehicle that had struck a gas pump. The unknown victim was taken to Bates County Memorial Hospital for observation and the scene was cleared a short time later.

The vehicle was towed  and the gas pump in question was shut down until Casey's maintenance personnel can evaluate it.

George "Bob" Arth was last spotted in Clinton, MO last night getting gas around 10 p.m. He headed south from there.
