Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

On Monday, the Butler High School Interact Club rolled up our sleeves to beautify our school grounds! Why? Because The Wall That Heals is coming to Butler, and we want our community to look its best for the veterans and families visiting this powerful memorial.
We take pride in where we live, and we believe "Service Above Self" starts right here at home.
We’re challenging every local business, organization, and neighbor to join us! Take 15 minutes this week to clean up your storefront, park, or sidewalk. Post a photo of your team in action and tag us!

Umstattd Sonic Group Sends 57 Educators to Ron Clark Academy

More Than 100 Teachers Sponsored Through Ongoing Education Initiative

Butler, Missouri – Umstattd Sonic Group (USG) recently sponsored 57 regional educators to attend the Ron Clark Academy Experience in Atlanta, Georgia — a nationally recognized professional development program for teachers.

With this latest group, USG has now sponsored over 100 educators from communities across Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa.

During the immersive experience, teachers observed live classroom instruction and participated in hands-on workshops focused on student engagement, school culture, and leadership.

“This was the best conference and training I have attended in my 23 years of teaching,” said one participating teacher, reflecting on the impact of the RCA Experience.

Educators returned with practical tools and renewed energy to bring back to their classrooms, impacting students across the region.

“This is something we care deeply about,” said Corbin Umstattd, partner at Umstattd Sonic Group. “Supporting teachers is one of the most direct ways we can give back to the communities that support us every day. The Ron Clark Academy is a great example of how investing in our local educators creates ripple effects far beyond the classroom.”

This effort is part of USG’s broader commitment to education, which includes literacy programs, teacher recognition initiatives, and ongoing school partnerships.

Umstattd Sonic Group operates 34 Sonic Drive-In locations throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa, with a mission centered on creating opportunities for people to learn, grow, and lead.
