Today, Butler Mayor Jim Henry presented a proclamation to long time Butler businessman Don LeNeve, honoring him for 70 years of operation as LeNeve's TV & Appliance
The proclamation reads as follows:
Whereas, Don LeNeve, with his wife JoAnn, established LeNeve's TV & Appliance in 1956 as a startup for home appliance sales and accessories and has been an integral part of the growth of Butler, Missouri; and
Whereas, Don LeNeve has provided generations of families with the appliances that have been a part of many homes in Butler, Missouri and surrounding areas and has kept life running with the dependable service that stood behind every sale; and
Whereas, for seven decades, Don LeNeve has demonstrated extraordinary resilience, adapting to changing times while maintaining his reputation for quality, integrity, and innovation; and
Whereas, this milestone represents seventy years of job creation, community support, and economic contribution to the City of Butler; and
Whereas, the success of LeNeve's TV & Appliance is a direct reflection of the dedication of Don LeNeve and family, his employees, and the loyalty of his valued customers;
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor James W. Henry, do hereby proclaim April 21 as Don LeNeve Platinum Anniversary Day in the City of Butler, and congratulate him and his entire team on 70 years of business excellence. Respectfully submitted and approved, on this 21st day of April, 2026.
