• 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭:
Deputy England conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Aidan Contreras, age 21, of Windsor, on a Henry County traffic warrant.
• 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝/𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝:
Deputy Hysom conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Joseph Sanders, age 68, of Windsor, for driving while suspended/revoked.
• 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭:
Deputy England conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Maggie Burchett, age 42, of Windsor, on a Henry County warrant for traffic offenses.
• 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞:
Deputy Murphy conducted a follow-up investigation in the Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of William Goodwin, age 60, of Clinton, for domestic assault in the 3rd degree. Goodwin allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat, causing bruising.
• 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭:
Justin Randazzo, age 39, of Harrisonville, was arrested at the Sheriff’s Office on a Henry County warrant for traffic offenses.

Obituary - John Arnold

John Marvin Arnold, age 93, of Sugar Valley Lakes near Mound City, Kansas passed away, Friday, May 1, 2026. He was born on May 13, 1932 in Worland, Missouri the son of John F. and Ruth Mullis Arnold.

Marvin youngest of three children and family oved to a farm house east of Pleasanton at one and one half years old. In 1952 he was united in marriage to Donna Grimsley. To this union, four children were born. Marvin worked as a farmer until 1957. The family moved to Kansas City, Kansas and worked at the University of Kansas Medical Center for thirty-seven years. He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by is parents, a son, Jeff Arnold, a brother, Maurice Arnold, and a sister, Marjorie Masters. Marvin is survived by his wife, Donna, three daughters, Vicki Chowning(Jim), Debra Bunker, and Janet Arnold, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Pleasanton Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Prairie Wind Hospice. Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.

Obituary - Georgia “Charlene” Igou

Georgia “Charlene” Igou, 90, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at her home in Sheldon, MO.

Charlene was born on October 9, 1935, in Hastings, NE to George and Laura (Kelso) Gilpin. She was united in marriage to Hollis Eugene “Gene” Igou on May 4, 1957, and they were blessed with seven children. Gene preceded her in death on January 7, 2015.

Charlene loved spending her time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and was known for helping others whenever she could. She was a Methodist.

Charlene is survived by her children; Randy (Helen) Igou, Homer, AK; Terri (C.J. Tetlow) Rowlette, Eldon, MO; Warren Igou, state of Oklahoma; Jim Igou, Sheldon, MO; Jason (Tina) Igou, Springdale, AR; and Timothy Igou, Sheldon, MO; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents, George and Laura Gilpin; her siblings; a daughter, Cheryl Joann Worrel; a son-in-law, Mark Rowlette; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Sheldon Methodist Church in Sheldon, MO.

Obituary - Jason Morgan

Jason Morgan, 54 of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Cass Regional Hospital in Harrisonville. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009.
