NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill, MO - Severe Weather Awareness
Severe Weather Awareness Week is March 4th through March 8th. The Statewide Tornado Drill will be conducted March 5th at 1:30 P.M., with an alternate date of March 7th at 1:30 P.M.
The City of Butler will participate in the drill and will activate our outdoor warning sirens.

Osage Valley Morning Update
We still have wide spread outages over the entire system. The weight of the snow caused many broken poles and power lines. Crews are working to get everyone back on as soon as possible. If the weather cooperates we are cautiously optimistic that we should have everyone back on today. Thank you for your patience
Semi in the ditch
Bates County Sheriff along with Missouri State Highway Patrol is in route to a semi truck on it's side in a ditch. This accident is on 52 Highway East and O Highway. Please use caution when traveling in this area.

Butler Bears Start State Title Journey
The Butler Bears will travel to Sedalia Smith Cotton High School on Wednesday evening to open up state basketball action. They will play the Higginsville Huskers the game starts at 6pm and will air on FM.92.1. Good Luck Butler Bears.
