Heavy Rainfall and Severe Weather Tuesday

After a loud stormy night we will remain dry for the rest of the day, but this will be short-lived.

Heavy rainfall returns Tue into Wed (3-4") resulting in possible Flash Flooding. Please be aware of water over roadways Tue into Wed and remember Turn Around Don't Drown!

Severe Storm chances return once again Tue afternoon with large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes possible (mainly south of HWY 50).

Mother/Son Dance In Butler



It's time again for the Mother-Son Dance on May 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Old High School Gym in Butler. Picture packages will be available. All ages and communities are welcome.

Storms Expected Tonight... Heavy Rain, Gusty Winds Likely...

Thunderstorms will move in tonight, likely impacting E Kansas and W Missouri late this evening, then overnight into early Monday morning eastward into C Missouri. Gusty winds (40-50 mph) are possible, and heavy rain will yield flooding concerns.

Obituary - Thelma Marie Coble

Thelma Marie Coble, 98, Peculiar, Missouri passed away April 27, 2019. Visitation will be at 10:00am on Friday, May 3, 2019, followed by the funeral services at 11:00 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Interment in the Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. A complete obituary will be added when it becomes available.

Robert K. Hatch, 63, of Drexel, Missouri died Thursday, April 25, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri.

The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
