The Bringing Light to Agent Orange Awareness Ceremony will be held at 8:30 pm with orange lighting to honor our victims of Agent Orange

A Quilts of Valor ceremony will be held at 3 pm

May 3
The closing ceremony will be held at 1:45 p.m.

The Wall will close for visitors at 2:00 p.m.

The Wall That Heals ready to roll

The truck carrying The Wall That Heals is currently in the Harrisonville Family Center parking lot and will roll towards Butler at 11:30 am. It will be passing through Adrian on the outer road before arriving in Butler between 12 and 12:30. Rain likely mid afternoon today

Here is a possible radar look around 3pm today. I think we will see scattered showers in KC around noon, and by 1-2 PM around east KS and west MO. There will be more energy for storms to tap into further south. Today's severe weather risk is on this map too, and you can see the Marginal (1/5) risk picks up south of Nevada MO. Expect rumbles of thunder and possibly some stronger storms to the south, but generally not expecting widespread severe storms in our area today.
