Update on Amber Alert Arrest
The grandfather of a boy kidnapped over the weekend from his mother's Colorado home is in custody at the Bates County jail, Butler, Mo. Missouri Highway Patrol Sgt. Bill Lowe says 73-year-old Ronald Turner was driving a vehicle with a license tag number listed on the Amber Alert when he was pulled over in Bates County. Turner was alone when he was pulled over. His three-year-old grandson was taken from his mother Saturday by the boy's father, Monty Turner, at her home in Longmont, Colorado. Monty Turner was arrested Sunday in Canada and Canadian authorities are working with the FBI to re-unite the boy with his mother. The Denver Post quoted Brandy Post as saying her son was yelling "please don' t hurt my monny when her husband began struggling with her.
