ADRIAN LIBRARY KICKS OFF SUMMER PROGRAMS

The Adrian Community Library has several upcoming summer activities planned for the community.  Saturday, June 15, will be their annual summer Book Sale and Local Author Program.  Starting at 8:00 a.m., there will be books for all ages on sale in front of the library, 116 E. Main, Adrian.  At 10:00 a.m. there will be a Local Author Program and Book Signing Event inside the library building.  Featured authors will be Don Arndt, Brenda Black and Brian Phillips who will be sharing their writing experiences and signing books.

Each Monday morning in June and July at 9:00 a.m., the Adrian Library is hosting a Children’s Story & Crafts Time for ages three, four, and five. Area children are invited to attend at the library.

Implemented in June, the “Walking Books” program provides books delivered monthly to homebound community members.  This is a free service and available upon request.
