Mullinax Funeral Home Announcement

Mullinax Funeral Home in Butler is excited to announce that an 1893 Wm. Knabe seven-foot concert grand piano will now provide music at visitations and funeral services. This world-class instrument was recently discovered here in Bates County, and is something of a local heirloom. Greg Mullinax, owner of Mullinax Funeral Home, has spent months making arrangements for the purchase, transportation, restoration and tuning of this beautiful instrument.

The enormous piano is made from solid hand-carved mahogany, and has beautiful, ornate detail throughout. Knabe pianos are among the finest in the world, and this local treasure has been restored to bring music for years to come. Music enthusiasts are invited by Greg Mullinax to stop by and view and hear the instrument any time. The piano’s deep, rich tone will provide comfort to families for many years to come.

Mullinax Funeral Home is grateful for the trust and confidence placed in them by the families they serve, and are pleased to use this fine instrument to comfort these families.
