Harrisonville Family Medicine welcomes new Nurse Practitioner

We are pleased to introduce our newest nurse practitioner Amy Marie Gibbens, NP-C, to our medical staff at Harrisonville Family Medicine.

Amy Gibbens received her bachelors of science in nursing at University of Central Missouri in 2006. She worked as a registered nurse in medical-surgical care unit for eleven years before coming to Harrisonville Family Medicine. 

She earned her master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri in 2017 where she majored in the rural family nurse practitioner program. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner. 

Amy finds great joy in caring for individuals throughout their lifespan. Her special interests include management of acute and chronic illness as well as pediatrics. 

She is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages and stages of life with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.
