Update: Amoret woman seriously injured in rollover accident

On 8/19/17 around 8:20pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County EMS, Butler and Amoret Fire Departments and Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident just east of Route J and CR 5002 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Buick Rendezvous driven by 36 year old Kandice J. McComb of Amoret, Missouri traveled of the right side of the roadway and struck a fence before overturning and striking a fence again coming to final rest on its top facing Northwest.

Kandice J. McComb sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Tow of Butler, Missouri.










CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE #1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A FENCE. VEHICLE #1 BEGAN TO OVERTURN AND STRUCK THE FENCE AGAIN. VEHICLE #1 CAME TO FINAL REST ON ITS TOP, FACING NORTHWEST.
