Leila B. Rogers, 85, Gallatin, MO, died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Leila was born September 4, 1925 in Adrian, MO, the daughter of J. B. and Jessie (Oyler) Addleman. Leila worked at the Lambert Cap Factory in Gallatin for over 30 years. She married Scott Rogers on May 31, 1945 in Kansas City, KS and shortly after, they moved to Hamilton, MO. They then moved to Gallatin where they made their home. Leila was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with family, dancing and visiting with friends at the senior center.
Leila was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 43 years, Scott, and a sister, Hilda. She is survived by two sons, John Rogers and wife, Rose of Cameron, MO and Gary Rogers of Gallatin, MO; 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and 4 brothers, Harvey, Henry, Charley and Duane.
Leila will be sadly missed by all family and friends.
