Mullinax move complete; historic location now open

Mullinax Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., is pleased to announce it is now open for business at 10. S. High St., (corner of Ft. Scott and High Streets) in Butler. The location will serve as the main headquarters for the funeral home, which has a location in Drexel as well. Operations in Drexel remain normal and will continue as such.

The Butler funeral home, originally built in 1909 and known as the Duvall mansion, has been renovated and updated. The entire facility is again ready to serve families in a comfortable, beautiful environment.

The main chapel on the South side of the building provides seating for 200, with overflow seating for up to 60. Flatscreen TVs and sound systems provide for Video Tribute presentations. The chapel can easily accommodate large crowds with many flowers or mementos.

A new feature in the funeral home is the Oak Room, aptly named for its Oak as well as stained glass features. It serves as a smaller chapel for those services when large crowds are not expected, or a pri- vate setting for a family viewing. The funeral home now also features a third viewing room, allowing multiple services to be held when needed.

A photo tour and more information is at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com. Everyone is invited to stop by and tour the facility if you wish. The funeral home is open daily except Sunday from 9am to 5pm, but always available 24 hours by telephone, (660) 679-0009.

The funeral home is owned by Greg D. Mullinax, who is assisted by a capable staff of professionals. We are deeply pleased to serve our community in this facility, and hope you will stop by for a visit.
