Funeral services for Jim Conner will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Contributions to Happy Hill Church of God.
James “Jim” Alonzo Conner, age 71 of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. He was born November 25, 1939 to James Oliver and Martha Lorene Conner in Henry County Missouri.
Jim is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Conner of Butler, Missouri; a son, Mark Coster and wife Peggy of Sedalia, Missouri; his mother, Lorene Conner of Montrose, Missouri; sister-in-law, Marcia McElwain of Butler, Missouri; four brothers, Joe Conner and John Conner and wife Gena all of Montrose, Missouri, Bill Conner and wife Sue of Tebetts, Missouri and Nelson Conner; four sisters, Thelma Pease and husband Gene of Kansas City, Missouri, Glenda McCoy of Ohio, Loretta Ayer of North Carolina and Cindy Ehnder and husband Randy of Clinton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Andrew Coster, Alissa Coster and Chad Rice; one great-grandson, Austin; and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Cynthia; and brother-in-law, Ronnie McElwain.
