Sherry Elaine Hogan, 52, Adrian, MO, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian, MO. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, at the chapel. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30 in Kirkley Chapel Cemetery in Bethany, MO. Sherry was born April 18, 1959 in Bethany, MO, the daughter of Larry Donald and Evylen Nadine (Orndorff) Bell. She was a graduate of Bethany High School. She married Jim Hogan on September 26, 1975 at the Kirkley Chapel-United Methodist Church in Bethany. She had lived in Harrisonville, MO for 25 years before moving to Adrian in 2003.
Sherry was an LPN and had worked at Golden Years Care Center, Crown Care Center, Foxwood Springs and the Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of the Kirkley Chapel-United Methodist Church in Bethany, MO.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Jim of the home; one son, Donald “Donnie” Hogan and his wife, Kimberly, Adrian, MO; one daughter, Jamee Mae Greener and her husband, Garth, Chillicothe, MO; her father, Larry Donald Bell, Buffalo, MO; her mother and stepfather, Nadine and Wayne Bechtold, Liberty, MO; one brother, Terry Bell, Ozark, MO; one sister, Sheila Schrader of Alabama; four grandchildren, Michael Edwin Hogan and Matthew Aaron Hogan, both of Harrisonville, MO and Graceland Khristine Greener and Gareth Mason Greener, both of Chillicothe, MO.
