E911 for Bates County- please take this survey

While Bates is one of the few counties in the state that do not have an Enhanced 911 system in place, those who do have it regularly demonstrate that E911 saves time and most importantly, lives of those who desperately need help in a crisis.

In the early discussions of bringing E911 to Bates County, it was disclosed that the program could be done at no additional cost to taxpayers, unfortunately this may not be true. To properly set up the program there may be some additional costs incurred, which brings up a new question- "how much is time saved worth?". In the case of a stroke, for example, it's priceless.

Please take a moment to take a survey- the information gathered will be an indicator of how much you understand what E911 is, and whether or not you support it in Bates County.
