Only one big-tent circus remains in America and it was in Butler today- the
Carson & Barnes Circus was sprawled over the southeast portion of the Bates County Fairgrounds with the 'Big Top' visible from quite a distance.
Two shows today provided all the classic fun- dancing dogs, elephants doing tricks, high wire acrobatics, clowns and more. While this evening's show was light in attendance, those who came certainly got their money's worth...
