Latest 'experiment' ends with very positive results...

A few months back we fully integrated our Heartland Trader classifieds into the Bates County Live home page and found a significant increase in the number of views each ad got per month. Just two weeks ago, we took the whole thing one step further and made our presence known on Craigslist- in those two weeks we have again seen the number of ad views nearly double again...

There's a few of us here at Bates County Live that like to stay up late thinking about how to better serve our advertisers and we are hoping to have a few more ideas implemented to promote our classified ad program in the very near future:

1. Classified ads will appear on our Facebook page.
2. Search engine optimization will 'spill' classifieds onto the internet to be found by mostly local users.
3. We are working on a method for readers to 'subscribe' to certain types of ads (local sales, lunch deals, specials, etc.) and receive those ads by Twitter, email and possibly by text messages.

Note that all classified ads are already visible on the Heartland Trader.com web site, our mirror site Bates County Live.net and we have many readers who get classifieds by email and RSS feeds...

So what's this mean to you? Mega bang for your buck! Heartland Trader classifieds start at just $1 and can be placed today by credit or debit card. Remember that classified ads work GREAT for businesses and individuals alike. To place your ad today, click here. For more info on all of our advertising options click here. And thanks in advance for your business!
