Ike Skelton was honored today with an official unveiling of his portrait on Capitol Hill, paying homage to his 32 years as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, including 4 years as chairman. The unveiling ceremony was in the Cannon Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building, and Skelton’s portrait will later be hung in the Armed Services Committee Room.
