Doris Lorraine Ellis, age 85 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born September 1, 1926 to Ben Carasbia and Adeline Catherine Schwab Fizer in Lexington, Missouri.
Doris is survived by her husband Jim Ellis of Butler, Missouri; two daughters, Patty Higgins and husband Jerry of Golden, Colorado and Diana Lyman of Springfield, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Pam Dodds and husband Carroll and Paula Morgan and husband Lynn all of Butler, Missouri; one brother, Ben Fizer and wife Bernice of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Shirley Johnson and husband Clyde of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandsons, three stepgranddaughters, two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
