Wendell Harris and Louise Fisher |
On April 24, 2012, Bates County Memorial Hospital honored the Hospital Auxiliary with a special appreciation luncheon. Louise Fisher was selected by her peers as the 2011 Volunteer of the Year. Louise has been a member of the hospital Auxiliary for 17 years, starting her volunteer service in January, 1995. Louise works both the Information Desk and the Gift Shop at the hospital. Over the years, she has seen many changes in the hospital, including having to learn a new computer system. Louise continues to be a symbol of what volunteerism is about, and is an inspiration to many. It is with tremendous honor that the hospital congratulates Louise on this recognition.
